MED Week recognizes and celebrates the achievements and impacts of minority entrepreneurs across North Carolina, and provides opportunities for networking, expanding, and strengthening businesses.
Since 1983, the U.S. President has proclaimed a national Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Week observance to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of minority business enterprises and to honor those corporations and financial institutions supporting minority business development. The Charlotte MED Week Planning Committee is excited to announce that in addition to the workshops, business connections expo and awards celebration we are adding a golf tournament! We hope everyone will consider playing and enjoying a fun day on the course. All events are vital to our diverse firms and MED Week community as we network, commemorate the achievements of minority entrepreneurs, and affirm our commitment to the principle of equal opportunity.

Charlotte MED Week kicked off this month with its newly added signature Golf Tournament! The ASPIRE team was proud to be a sponsor for the event and join Mitch Capel and Vincent Gordon, pictured above, on the course. It was such a pleasure to support all of the events happening during this week, as events like this one were so vital to our MED Week community as we networked, commemorated the achievements of minority entrepreneurs, and affirmed our commitment to the principle of equal opportunity.
