ASPIRE Welcomes New Team Members

ASPIRE is delighted to announce that we’ve welcomed two new members to our team! Learn more about how Wesley and Christopher’s experiences have prepared them for their roles on the ASPIRE team, and hear directly from them about how they connect to ASPIRE’s mission in their work.

Wesley Head is ASPIRE’s new Director of Small Business Lending.

Wesley Head: I am a Queen City transplant from Cleveland, Ohio. Yes, I am a die-hard Browns fan (this year is our year).

I received my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Akron with a major in Organizational & Business Communication. I have a professional background in account management and banking. I am most passionate about providing tools, resources and education to people within our community in hopes of achieving financial freedom. I’m thrilled to join the ASPIRE team; daily I’m able work along side like-minded individuals who strive to make a way for those who are seeking support to either establish or elevate their business.

In my leisure I enjoy spending time with friends and traveling the world.

Christopher Capel is ASPIRE’s new Director of Programs.

Christopher Capel: I am blessed to embark on this next stage in my career as Director of Programs with ASPIRE Community Capital. Connecting business owners who have been underestimated, with the resources, knowledge, and capital they need to take their business to the next level is important and impactful work. I am honored to be part of the committed group of staff and Board radically transforming lives and communities through business ownership.
